Holiday plans for the 4th of July, going to the beach, for the parade in Oceanside, Ca. 3rd time to go. I was time for the holiday, Thanksgiving 1978, wednesday was the day, that I saw the news. Was at sick bay, trying to get off work early, and the flash of dead bodies all over the ground. Not sure, without checking the day of the week, 18th fell on. 

Grandmother, Mary Jane Hardaway Bailey died, Mary Jane Bailey, on the grave markers in Hawyard graveyard. Have to check the spelling on the graveyard. Evergreen something, have the pictures of the headstones for 909 folks that died that year.
